The now infamous Kia police were searching for as being linked to the disappearance of the man whose six-month-old son was found dead in his cot was spotted in Strubens Valley.
Just after 2pm on Wednesday 15 June, the Record received a tip-off from one of its readers about the whereabouts of the copper-colour Kia Picanto.
Nicolene Rocher saw a man running from the vehicle and alerted police and the Record.
The vehicle was seen on Christiaan de Wet Road earlier.
Record journalist Riaan van Zyl is at the scene from where he confirmed that the suspect has been arrested.
Honeydew Police are on scene.
