The Randfontein Publicity Association (RPA) is once again hosting a Winter Charity Drive and is appealing to members of the public and local businesses to help take the b-b-b-b-brrr out of winter for the less fortunate by donating blankets, beanies and bed-socks.
“These items can be dropped off at the RPA office – located at Greenhills Sport Stadium in Homestead Avenue – during office hours up untill Friday, 1 July,” said Joy Hamann, RPA publicity officer.
Cash donations are also welcome and will be used to buy the necessary items and food parcels. The recipients will be various needy families, individuals and organisations in Randfontein, Toekomsrus and Mohlakeng.
