Malerato pupils showcase their talent

Dances, poems and musical items were all performed at the talent show.

Pupils from Malerato Primary School did not disappoint when they showcased their talents at a talent show held on Friday, 27 May.

Dances, poems and musical items were all performed at the talent show.

Pupils from Grades 1 to 7 practised for weeks in order to present their individual items to the rest of the pupils and teachers at the school, with the help of their sponsor SULAHB, a Social Service Organisation.

The groups that performed were the Drummer Majorettes, the Gumboot dancers, the Sarafina girls, the Tsonga dance group and the Tswana dance group.

Idah Mohlokiane, club chairperson said,

Our school has great talent and both the pupils and the teachers really enjoyed the event.

“We have a great diversity at our school and this talent show just demonstrated that the pupils don’t only excel academically, but also on other platforms.”
