Police intensify drug awareness campaign

The information will help parents/guardians to be able to identify symptoms of a person who is using drugs.

The Westonaria Police along with local traffic officers, patrollers, community safety personnel and Community Policing Forum (CPF) recently held a joint Drug Awareness campaign in the Westonaria CBD.

According to Captain Siphiwe Ndlovu, Westonaria Police spokesperson, these groups interacted with the community, teaching them about different kinds of drugs and the consequences of drug abuse.

Pamphlets containing valuable information on drugs also were distributed.

This information will help parents/guardians to be able to identify unlawful drugs and symptoms of a person who is using drugs.
