Two killed after vehicle rolls

ER24: All the patients had been ejected from the vehicle.

Two people lost their lives and two others sustained moderate to serious injuries after a vehicle rolled multiple times near Carletonville.

The crash took place on Sunday, 29 May on Deelkraal Road.

Pieter Rossouw, ER24 spokesperson said only one light motor vehicle was involved in the crash. He added the vehicle lost control and subsequently rolled several times.

Although this is the assessment of what transpired, Rossouw said the cause of the crash is unknown and that local authorities were on scene for further investigations.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found the vehicle on its roof in a nearby field.

“It was also found that all the patients had been ejected from the vehicle,” Rossouw explained.

ER24 transported one of the patients to Fountain Hospital in Carletonville while the other survivor was transported by another emergency medical service.
