Woman, 51, assaulted and robbed in Greenhills home

Police: The men took a TV, cellphone and car keys.

A 51-year-old woman allegedly was assaulted and robbed in her Greenhills home on Monday night.

Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson said the incident took place at about 6.15pm.

“It is alleged the victim was at her house in Populier Street while busy with the laundry three unknown men entered through the kitchen door. They pointed at her with firearms. The men took a TV, cellphone and car keys.

“The victim reported being hit on the head by the suspects and indicated her dogs might have caused them to run away.

“No serious injuries were reported and no shots were fired.”
