Dwarskloof Road claims yet another life

Police: Upon our arrival, we found a Crysler Neon motor vehicle which had overturned.

Randfontein Police are investigating yet another culpable homicide case in the Dwarskloof area following a recent motor vehicle related death.

The incident took place at around 4.30pm on Sunday, 24 April.

“It is alleged Randfontein Police members were called out to a culpable homicide incident on the Ventersdorp/Dwarskloof Road that day. Upon their arrival, the members found a Crysler Neon motor vehicle which had overturned,” says Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside the vehicle and he was declared dead on the scene. The body was removed to the government mortuary.

In early April, one person was killed in a crash between two vehicles at the the intersection of the Dwarskloof and Brandvlei Road. It is alleged one of the vehicles failed to stop at the intersection and it resulted in the collision.
