West Rand Pest Control has done it again.
On Saturday 16 April Michael Grobler, director of Pest Control West Rand won the Franchisee of the Year award at a ceremony held at the Leriba Hotel and Spa in Centurion. This is the second consecutive year this West Rand team took home the cup.
The West Rand team consists of Randfontein, Westonaria, Krugersdorp and Roodepoort. This is a big achievement, seeing that there are 35 branches countrywide as well as in Swaziland, Zululand and Botswana. Different aspects of the franchise are judged, such as compliance, branding, fleet turnover among other.
In addition, West Rand Pest Control also won the Top Turnover category, which makes them extra proud. Michael thanks the team of 53 for their excellent customer service, professionalism and hard work. He said the staff play a huge role in the success of the company.
He also thanks their clients for their support and loyalty. Hennie van Eck, the branch manager, said Michael’s involvement in the company is also one of the reasons the West Rand franchise is so successful.
Michael’s advice for business owners striving towards excellence, is to look after their staff and clients and to set goals for themselves and the company.
