Three injured in four-vehicle accident

Another serious car crash leaves three men injured.

Three people were injured following a collision involving three vehicles and one taxi on Randfontein Road between Corlett Avenue and NickToomey Boulevard in the West Rand last Friday.

According to Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson, “ER24 paramedics and provincial paramedics attended to the crash that morning and upon arrival found the taxi and two cars still on the road. One car was just off the road.

“Upon assessment of the people on scene it was found that three of them, all men, sustained moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to the Leratong Hospital for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
