Gotcha! Roaming lion captured

Terrifying lion turns out to be made of fibreglass.

The roaming lion reported to have been terrorising the town’s motorists and business owners has finally been caught.

The lion, which is the Yellowstone Motors’ fibreglass lion, was caught single single-handedly by Herald journalist Roxy de Villiers on the corner of Raven Street and Greenhills Avenue.

With gloves on and a catchpole in hand, the mighty lion was caught in one swoop while motorists passed by. The boerewors stall next to the Yellowstone lion even offered to treat the now captured lion to a piece of boerewors.

Happy April Fool’s Day, Randfontein.
