A feast to bring female pastors together

'It's time female pastors in Randfontein work together'

“It’s time female pastors in Randfontein work together.”

These are the words of Naomi Mekgwe, a local resident who invites the town’s female religious leaders to an upcoming religious networking lunch.

The event called Pre-Feast of Esther was created for this exact purpose, to bring Randfontein’s female Christian leaders of any and every denomination together to make a difference in town and to support each other.

It would be ideal if we could all work together. If you have an event, there should be a support base of women there for you,” Naomi said.

Naomi is a cell group leader from Rhema Church and the main organiser of Pre-Feast of Esther.

“We will be going into the Feast of Esther on 6 May and this event serves as the prelude to that. We will tell female pastors what the feast is about and also will do networking. The Feast of Esther itself is biblical and in short, Esther in the Bible is a woman who bridged the gap for a nation,” she said.

The event is free and lunch will be served to guests. Ruth Zulu from Ukhozi FM will be a guest speaker.

Event details:

• Date: 9 April

• Time: 10am

• Venue: Da Side Venue, 14 Fiat Street, Aureus

For more information about the event or to book a seat, Naomi can be contacted on 082 639 2536 or 073 809 5292.
