Here is the expected petrol price for April

Over 60 cent hike in the petrol price predicted for April.

Motorists are in for a rather hefty petrol price increase in April.

The increase is partially as a result of the fuel levy which was announced in finance minister Pravin Gordhan’s budget speech.

In the speech Gordhan mentioned that the fuel levy will increase by 30 cents a litre which becomes effective from Wednesday, 6 April.

The Automobile Association (AA) is predicting a petrol increase of 31 to 35 cents a litre apart from the general fuel levy. Motorists are now looking at a fuel increase of over 60 cents a litre next month.
