Date night this weekend

The weekend has landed and what better way to spend your time off than with your significant other?

Dates are a great way to spend time with your significant other and if you do them at home, you won’t need to spend exorbitant amounts of money.

Having a surprise outdoor movie night is the perfect way to spend these autumn nights.

Setting a movie night up whether it’s going to be a surprise or not is all about the little details.

Movie tickets:

You can make your own movie tickets for your significant other. You can either download a printable ticket online or make your own.

What you’ll need:

• Four pieces of PVC pipes (1 1/2 inch or 3,81 centimeter or else the structure will not be stable)
• Two elbows
• Four T-fittings
• Eight spikes
• One white sheet
• Six pieces of grosgrain ribbon
• A sewing machine (or sowing skills)
• A saw, and or electrical

How you’ll put it together:

Cut your PVC pipe to fit the measurements and assemble them like in the above image. Drill holes into the PVC pipes that will make the feet of the structure. Drill four holes on either side of the feet. In total you will drill four holes. Before you hit the nails into the ground, fit the sheet on the structure any way you like or as in the image.

Movie night seating:

The seating and the snacks really make the movie night. You can either go with chairs or a laid-back Moroccan feel.

Snacks:

Snacks can be anything from your significant other’s favourite food to the usual suspects – popcorn, candy, and fizzy drinks.
