Rainbow coloured jelly, anyone?

Look like a professional with this recipe for rainbow coloured jelly.

Anything rainbow coloured seems to be automatically more fun and if you can make any rainbow coloured food, the unspoken laws of the universe says you are a master chef.

Why not wow your children and perhaps your friends and family with an extra special rainbow coloured jelly treat that will make you look like an expert foodie.

What you need:

• Jelly (red, organge, yellow, green, blue and purple coloured)

• Six teaspoons of gelatine

• Two freezer-safe baking dishes

• Cooking spray, you know, the best thing ever invented

Method:

Spray your baking dishes which should be about 22 by 33 centrimetres.

Start by making the purple jelly according to the instructions on the box and stir in an additional teaspoon of gelatine when you add the hot water. Divide the mixture evenly between the two dishes and place in the freezer to set.

Now this is where it gets tricky – repeat the same process with each of the colours, working your way up to red or which ever sequence of colours you prefer. Make sure to leave at least 15 minutes between each layer so that the colours can set.

When all the colours are in the dish, let them set in the fridge for at least four hours before cutting them into pieces.
