The video is shot at various locations of his school where one of his fellow pupils says, “Damn, Daniel,” and also, “Back at it again with the white Vans.”
Nobody knows why the video went so viral and major companies have used the Damn, Daniel meme in their advertising material including Clorox who personally @mentioned Daniel Lara, the internet’s new boy wonder.

The video sparked various parody videos, memes, Twitter posts and pretty much everything else on the internet.

As is done with most voice-overs on the internet, the boy in the video saying, “Damn, Daniel,” has been remixed.

After the video went viral a hoax robbing and hospitalisation of Daniel was reported and people were relieved to find Daniel was still safe in his #WhiteVans.
The Damn, Daniel internet wunderkind also Tweeted that Ellen DeGeneres asked him to appear on her show and Vans asked him to be in one of their commercials.
