• Contemplate going for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This will include seeing a therapist who will evaluate you and suggest a few tips.

• Get on your feet when you can’t sleep after about 20 minutes. Do something that isn’t mind-consuming for at least half an hour up to an hour.

• Attempt Progressive Muscle Relaxation. This is a refreshing movement that requires the body’s muscle groups to be consistently tensed and relaxed.

• Relax in a warm bath. This helps your body get ready for bed.

• Give meditating a go, if not, some deep breathing will also do the trick. This will help empty your mind to fall asleep easier.

• Exercise regularly, as it will help you sleep better.

• Do yoga. Yoga helps you relax, thus calming the mind and will help you fall asleep easier.

• Inhale Aromatherapy. Lavender assists you in better sleep.

• Set up your bedroom to be a comfortable, sleep-friendly zone. Make sure there are no possible disruptions.

• Consider additives, but not too much.

• Drink herbal tea. The same ingredients are used in sleeping additives.

• Don’t drink coffee at least five hours before bedtime. Caffeine complicates falling asleep.

• Stop smoking. This has the same effect as caffeine on your body.
