Brenda Mahuma, Randfontein Local Municipality speaker along with Pastor Dineo Molotsane, Pillar of Strength Ministries Project manager/founder and her team recently visited the rural areas of Randfontein.
The following was done at the outreach campaigns:
• Door-to-door house visits to older citizens of Mohlakeng extension 3
• A pep talk was given to unemployed youth while others got referred to FET Colleges
• ANC mobilization
• Pillar of strength ministries health team performed Holistic Counselling and testing
• 93 people was tested for HIV, blood pressure, glucose and were screened for TB
The event was a success and communities must continue to be served selflessly, by doing so, the rate of teenage pregnancy, unemployment and crime will eventually decrease,” said Mahuma.
Everybody that attended also were treated to a delicious home-cooked meal courtesy of the women of Pillar of Strength Ministries.
