• Buy him a gift that he will use, even if it is not the most extravagant. Beer or biltong is a safe choice.
• Go ice skating. It is a very fun, different and a romantic thing to do.
• Be adventurous. Go swimming at night.
• Have an indoor picnic. Add lots of candles and romantic music for an ideal night.
• Cook him his favourite meal.
• Make it an evening of cocktails. Try different recipes for delicious cocktails and see what you both like best.
• Appreciate what he gives or does for you on Valentine’s Day. It is the thought that counts.
• Go down memory lane. Look at some old photo’s of when you started dating, read him letters or poems he wrote you.
