The riddle of the missing man

Pretorius also wanted to assist in solving a case.

There seems to be a twist in the disappearance of 39-year-old Willem Adriaan (Wimpie) Pretorius.

On 26 November the Herald reported that Pretorius was missing. Now he allegedly is wanted for assistance in solving a case involving money that has gone missing.

Pretorius was the manager of a liquor store at the time of his disappearance. Soon after he was reported missing, the owner of the liquor store’s Toyota Hilux was found parked at a shopping mall . Pretorius last was seen when he dropped off his child at a family members’ house in Randfontein.

Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed that Pretorius is still missing. His former employer who wishes not to be named said Pretorius allegedly was spotted in Carletonville, Krugersdorp and Westonaria and added Pretorius’ girlfriend was devastated at the time of his disappearance.

While missing, it came to light that Pretorius could have crucial information regarding money that has gone missing.

Any person who can assist in tracing Pretorius is requested to call the Randfontein duty officer, Captain Smith on 082 568 4583 urgently.

At the time of his disappearance, Pretorius was wearing a maroon T-shirt with a small collar on which is written Vodacom, light blue long jeans and black safety boots.

He approximately is 1,75 metres tall, weighs between 60 and 70kg, is very skinny, has brown eyes and light-brown shoulder- length hair. That day he had an unshaven look.
