Spaza shop targeted by robbers

The one approached the owner and demanded some food.

A spaza shop in Mohlakeng was targeted by robbers recently.

Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson, the incident took place at around 4.10pm on Sunday, 10 January.

“It is alleged the owner, 27, was busy in the shop when three unknown men entered. The one approached the owner and demanded some food.

The owner was behind a burglar door when the three men allegedly grabbed items such as groceries and fled,” said Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson.

The suspects are still at large.
