Vehicle rolls injuring four

ER24: It is understood the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Four people were injured after their vehicle rolled on the R501 outside of Carletonville on Thursday.

According to Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, “ER24 paramedics were called to the scene, and on arrival, found the vehicle lying on its roof on the side of the road. It is understood the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn.

On assessment, paramedics found that four occupants had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The fifth fortunately escaped without injury.

“Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Carletonville Hospital for further treatment.”

The cause of the collision is under investigation by local authorities.
