Just after midnight on Friday little Mamello greeted the world after her mom, Palesa Zungu, 20, gave birth to her in Life Robinson Private Hospital.
Little Mamello was sleeping peacefully in her father, Calvin Khuleni’s arms. This is their first baby and you could see the pride on their faces. Mamello weighed a healthy 3,41 kilograms and she is 49 centimetres tall.
Mamello’s name means “patience” which rings true since her mom was in labour with her since 11pm on 23 December.
Calvin said he thought they would have a Christmas baby and Palesa said, “Thank God for this blessing, she is a true gift of life.”
