Car caught fire: One killed, six injured

A critically injured patient was transported to LenMed Hospital in Randfontein.

One person was killed and six were injured in a taxi-car collision on the N12.

According to ER 24, the taxi allegedly collided with the car, after which the car caught fire. The crash took place near the Lenasia off-ramp.

One patient with critical injuries was transported by ER 24 paramedics to LenMed Hospital in Randfontein for further medical care. All the other patients were moderately injured and were transported to nearby hospitals by other medical services.

The cause of the incident is unknown.
