Bikers have hearts, too

These bikers want to change the world one heart at a time.

Bikers from the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) recently gathered at Laerskool Randfontein (Ram) in Homelake to raise funds to buy bibles and hand them out to the public.

The CMA offers people the opportunity to get involved in a ministry that is an international family of bikers who make a difference around the world by living their faith.

Their aim is to change the world one heart at a time. The CMA is currently represented in more than 30 countries across the globe.

Their event, Show and Shine, was held on Ram’s premises who gave them the venue at no charge. It was hosted by the CMA Randfontein and Carletonville and even attracted members from Johannesburg.

Stalls were organised for the event where members of the public could buy refreshments as well as biker novelties. Being a biker event, bikes from members were lined up in the middle of the field for display as well as kitted out cars and the golden oldies.

Martie Erasmus was the guest artist. The event was ended off with a Christmas carols sing-along.

Jeandré and Dawie Venter displayed their own biking creation at the event.
