A man died after he was knocked down by a vehicle on the Khutsong main road in Carletonvillle in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“It is understood the man landed under another vehicle that was stationary at the time after he was knocked over.
When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they found the man under the vehicle. It was found that he sustained fatal injuries.
“The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care,” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
