Vehicle and taxi collide – Six injured

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.

Six people were injured in a collision between a taxi and car on the N12 at the Glenharvie turn off outside Westonaria on Saturday night.

ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the taxi in the middle of the road and the car on the side of the road about 10 metres apart from each other.

Patients were sitting and lying next to the vehicles. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they sustained minor to moderate injuries.

“They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care. The exact cause of the collision is unknown,” said ER24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing.

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
