Warning: Hail season has begun

Nine tips to protect yourself and your possessions.

The massive hail storm that recently hit Lichtenburg caused extensive damage to properties and vehicles. 

With this in mind, Dialdirect is once again urging South Africans to be vigilant in protecting themselves and their assets during hail season.

Although vehicles are usually the hardest hit, major hail storms also result in millions of rands in damages to roofs, windows, sliding doors, skylights, garden and outdoor equipment.

“Make sure that both your vehicle, home owners and household insurance adequately covers you against damage to property caused by hail,” said Warwick Scott-Rodger, Head of Dialdirect Insurance.
