The Randfontein SPCA was surprised with a big donation of dog food.
Cube Route sells Eukanuba pet food and donated 10 bags of adult food and 10 bags of puppy food to the SPCA.
Just before the driver and his assistant arrived to deliver the food, Janette Muller who is an inspector for the Randfontein and Westonaria SPCA had responded to a call and found an emaciated dog.
The dog was literally just skin, fur and bone. When the Herald asked if the dog would survive Janette said, “I think so. The dog tested negative for the usual dog sicknesses, so there is a good chance she will make it.”
This dog will be one of the first recipients of the donation.
This is what it is all about; this is where all the donations to the SPCA go – the animals,” Janette said.
She thanks Cube Route for their generosity towards animals and by extension the SPCA.
