Motorbike rider in critical condition
The injured rider is believed to be in his late 20’s.
A motorbike rider is in a critical condition after a collision on the R552 at School Road in Lanseria on Sunday morning.
According to ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak, “At approximately 10am paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the rider lying several meters into a veld next to the road. It is believed that he was flung from his motorbike several meters into the veld during the collision.
Upon assessment they [paramedics] found that he had several critical injuries. The injured rider, believed to be in his late 20’s, was rushed to Life Fourways Hospital for further medical management.”
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known.
