Teen girl goes missing

14-year-old from Girls and Boys Town last seen on 2 October.

The public’s help is needed in locating a 14-year-old girl missing since last week.

Anneke Swart, 14, who allegedly calls herself ‘Amy le Roux’ was last seen on Friday morning 2 October at the dynamic non-profit organisation, Girls and Boys Town situated in Randfontein.

According to her guardian, Susara Snyman, the girl started attending Girls and Boys Town in January this year. She allegedly has expressed to Snyman she is not happy. Since last month, the girl allegedly has ran away from Girls and Boys Town at least four times.

Snyman fears she could mix with the wrong crowd considering she was last found in the company of older men.

Her guardian added she is going through a difficult time and could act upon these emotions.

Any person who has information about Swart’s whereabouts can contact Susara on 061 495 0304 or Mpumi on 073 349 2852.
