Nine injured as taxi and car collide

Paramedics found the patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Nine people were injured in Wedela, Carletonville following a collision between a car and a taxi on Saturday.

According to ER24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, “Paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found that several members of the public around the area.

Five people from the car and four from the taxi were assessed. Paramedics found the patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
