Man with epilepsy dies suddenly

The cause of the death is being investigated since there were no visible injuries – Police.

Randfontein Police are investigating if there was any foul play involved after the body of a man – who allegedly suffers from epilepsy – was found in a yard in Helikon Park over the weekend.

Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police confirmed the body of a man, 34, was discovered in the area on Sunday, 4 October.

An inquest has been opened. The cause of the death is being investigated since there were no visible injuries on the body.”

Ernst added it was alleged the deceased suffered from epilepsy and the post-mortem will determine if there was any foul play.

This statement comes after rumours of murder circulated in Randfontein on Sunday.
