Another win for passionate councillor

'The head of electrical was really on point with this one' – Councillor.

Ward 7 of which DA Ward Councillor Craig Harrison is in charge of has yet another win in terms of improvements in the area.

The latest win in the ward is the newly installed electrical boxes that feed power to homes in the area. The Herald went to see what all the fuss was about in Mossie Massyn Street and upon arrival bright orange electrical boxes were seen in front of each home in the road.

The boxes make for an improvement on the old grey boxes which were open on the one side, exposing cables that could spell disaster for residents.

When Harrison spoke to the Herald he said,

The guys that did this are fantastic. The head of electrical was really on point with this one.”

This makes for the fourth win for the Harrison and naturally the residents in his ward.

The first achievement this year was the fixing of what was called Randfontein’s biggest pothole close to Hoërskool Riebeeckrand. The second was the reconstruction of the old Con Joubert Bird Sanctuary then the residents of the ward received wheelie bins where the Randfontein Executive Mayor, Mzi Khumalo was seen handing out bins to residents in ward 7.
