El Cupid goes pink for Cansa

Do you believe your baby to be the cutest on the West Rand? Put it to the test.

El Cupid Estates in Krugersdorp North will be hosting their seventh annual Baby Festival in aid of the South African Cancer Association (Cansa) and are calling residents of the West Rand to participate.

“We are proud to be hosts of the El Cupid Baby Festival on Saturday 31 October,” Piet Pretorius, owner of El Cupid Estates said. The Baby Festival gives proud parents the opportunity to show off their little ones while supporting a worthy cause.

We are proud to partake in this event, and welcome the initiative and continuous support from business partners such as El Cupid,” Amanda Roestoff, Community Mobiliser Fund Development, Cansa Western Gauteng Care Centre said.

The competition has three categories – six months to 12 months, one year to two years and two years to three-and-a-half years. Nine independent judges will determine the winners of these categories.

Entry forms will be available at El Cupid Estates’ offices at 9 Begin Street, Krugersdorp between 9am to 4.30pm. Entries will be charged at R50 a child.

At the competition vendors will set up stalls that will sell food and drinks. Cansa will be there as well selling their pink breast cancer awareness products.
