WANTED: Eyewitness in theft cases

He might be able to shed light on the thefts in the area – police.

Detectives from the Randfontein Police urgently are requesting assistance from the public to trace a man who could assist in several cases of theft out of motor vehicles.

According to Captain Appel Ernst, “It is alleged items were stolen from a number of vehicles parked at the Greenhills Circle during August of this year. The stolen items include a laptop.”

Ernst continued,

Video footage was recovered at a nearby shop and the investigating officer is urging any person who knows the identity of the man in the photo to contact them. He might be able to shed light on the thefts in the area.”

Police assured residents the information given to them will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and can be communicated to Sergeant Nomsa Theba on 011 278 8100.
