Randfontein’s muscle couple

‘When I put my mind to something, there’s nothing that can move me’.

Randfontien has a dynamic duo who has taken the bodybuilding world by storm – one of them has only gotten into the game at the beginning of this year.

Roger Frade and Tanneth Dornbrack participated in the Rossi Classic. The Rossi Classic has been hosted since 2012. In 2014 the competition became the biggest fitness and bodybuilding event in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Roger won first place out of eight competitors in his division. He participated in the u.75kg senior category while Tanneth landed herself in the top 15 out of 21 competitors in the bikini u/1,65cm.

The duo are not just gym partners, but lovebirds having been together for the past two years. Roger has been training as a bodybuilder for 14 years and started bodybuilding competitively in 2007.

Tanneth has surprisingly only started training in January. Roger has trained her and has helped with her diet.

When the Herald asked Roger what his secret was he said he was blessed with willpower which keeps him going.

When I put my mind to something, there’s nothing that can move me,” he said.

Tanneth said that bodybuilding takes a lot of dedication and if someone is dedicated enough, they can go far.
