BREAKING: Bystander claims to know the truth about scooter-bakkie collision
The bystander said he watched the collision from a flat across the road from the collision.
A bystander claims to know the real story behind the scooter-bakkie collision which occurred yesterday afternoon.
Gert Havenga, an eyewitness of the collision said, “I watched the accident take place from the flats across the road. The man on the scooter was coming down the road about to go over the bridge when the white bakkie turned in front of the scooter.”
Havenga added, “This in turn caused the man on the scooter to fall off his scooter then slid to the side of the road.”
The man was taken to Yusuf Daidoo Hospital by Netcare 911 for further medical care.
The white bakkie was no where to be seen at the scene of the accident. It is not clear if he drove off or if he gave his details to Randfontein Traffic Police on scene.
