Man, 36, robbed at gunpoint

The suspects drove a white car with North West number plates.

A man, 36, was robbed at gun-point by two suspects driving a vehicle with North West Province number plates.

Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police Station spokesperson said the incident took place on the Riebeeck Street bridge in Homelake at approximately 3:05am on 20 August.

It was alleged by the victim that he was crossing the bridge with a white Golf 1 vehicle pulled up next to him. The suspects then got out of the vehicle and approached him, one with a firearm in hand.

The victim was hit with the firearm by one suspect. The second suspect searched the victim and stole his cellphone and money.

Both suspects returned to their vehicle afterwards and drove off.
