A 20-year-old man tragically lost his life while his father sustained critical injuries as their vehicle overturned on Greenspark Road, outside Fochville.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, their vehicle, a bakkie, was lying on its side in the veld. Both the son’s body and the father were ejected from the bakkie into the veld.
Paramedics found that the man in his 20s had already passed away due to multiple fatal injuries.
The father was found in critical condition. Paramedics stabalised him and airlifted him to a private hospital for medical treatment.
The cause of the vehicle overturning is not yet known.
