Sector 4 CPF strives to serve

This is how you can help ...

The Sector 4 Community Policing Forum (CPF) members are your neighbours, family and friends who strive to help the community to the best of their ability and create a safe environment and awareness about what is happening in the area.

We are not police or an armed reaction company. We are a non-profit, non-political crime-prevention community team,” Janine Gouveia, PRO for the Sector 4 CPF said in a statement.

How the CPF helps the community:

They have volunteer patrollers who will respond to your reports and inform police and local security services where required.

The CPF has access to:

• Volunteer emergency services

• Volunteer trauma counsellors who can assist on scene if required

• Dedicated WhatsApp groups among whom important information is shared

• Two-way radio communication at all times

• Good relationship with the Randfontein Police and the armed-reaction companies

How the community can help:

• Participate in the Randfontein community to report any suspicious activity or help where the community thinks it is needed

• Be a part of the CPF group

• Join as a patroller

• Become a sponsor (this can be in the form of a flash light, reflector vest or just a small amount of money a month)

If you would like to join the CPF, membership forms can be collected at Randgate Spar or on the Sector 4 CPF website (randfonteincpfsector4.co.za) or contact the management team:
