RCA’s new student council announced
At least 100 pupils gathered to see who the new leaders would be.
Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) on Monday announced their new student council to lead by example.
What was a morning filled with praise and worship the principal Retha Maré, led the ceremony where about 100 pupils eagerly gathered to hear who the new leaders will be.
Pupils then started dancing and singing gospel songs.
Maré announced the President’s of the student council and they are as follows:
• Bianca Botes – Senior President
• Leanandé Scholtz – Senior Vice President
• Chanel Stolz – Junior President
• Obakeng Meyer – Junior Vice President
The student council:
• Theodore Ninow
• Zhaundre Eloff
• Cindy Botha
• Mecyla Theunissen
These pupils were very excited and they formalized their new positions, signing papers with their parents and receiving certificates.
They ended the ceremony with the whole school singing a gospel song From the rooftops.
