Man survives horror T-bone collision

CPF and medical personnel confirm man to have a few scratches after the incident.

A man miraculously walked away from a horror T-bone collision at the R41-R28 intersection in Randfontein just before 8am on Monday.

It is unclear which direction the two involved vehicles were travelling in, however, a white Toyota bakkie collided with a silver VW Polo Vivo. The bakkie had little damage conversely, the VW had rolled and was laying on its roof when the Herald arrived on scene.

According to reports from the Randfontein Sector 4 Community Policing Forum (CPF) and provincial medical personnel, the man had a mere few scratches on his left forearm after the collision.

The cause of the collision is unclear, however, local authorities were on the scene and will be investigating the matter.View gallery here.
