Petrol price expected to drop

Experts predict a decrease in the petrol price of at least 47 cents.

Motorists are in for a treat at the start of August as the petrol price is due to decease after months of increases.

According to Business Tech, the petrol price is due to go down on 5 August. The final petrol price will be announced on 31 July.

The price has been speculated to drop between 47 to 49 cents per litre and possibly 70 cents per litre for diesel according to recent data from the Automobile Association (AA).

Illuminating paraffin is estimated to drop by approximately 68 cents a litre.
