Son murdered, father attacked
'We have no suspect so far' — Police.
Police have confirmed a father and son were attacked in Homelake at approximately 9pm on Friday.
According to Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police, “A 43-year-old man was killed and his father injured. We are investigating a case of murder. We have no suspect(s) so far.”
According to Zaheer Gangat, chairperson of the CPF executive committee, “The man was murdered in his home.” However, police have not confirmed this.
Events surrounding the murder are unknown to the Herald.
