Homelake murder: Man allegedly shot

Two suspects allegedly entered the house while the family was eating — CPF.

New information surfaced regarding the murder of a man, 42, in Homelake over the weekend.

According to Zaheer Gangat, chairperson for the Randfontein Community Policing Forum (CPF) executive committee, “Two suspects allegedly entered the house while the family was around the table. The suspects had balaclavas on and both pulled out firearms.

“The man got up from the table and went to them. They shot him and left with nothing. The six-year-old daughter witnessed the ordeal,” he continued.

“A neighbour alerted the CPF, we called EMS, but when we arrived on scene within minutes, he already was dead.”

The above information has not been confirmed by the police.
