Woman ejected and killed when car rolls
She lost control of her vehicle — paramedics.
A woman believed to be in their 40s was killed after she lost control of her vehicle causing it to roll on the R53 10km outside Potchefstroom on Friday morning.
According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, “Paramedics from the ER24 Carletonville and Potchefstroom branch arrived on scene and found the light motor vehicle lying off to the side of the road, lying on its side.
“On assessment, paramedics found the lifeless body of the driver lying 20 metres away from her vehicle.
“Unfortunately the woman had already succumbed to her fatal injuries when she was ejected from the vehicle. Nothing more could be done for the patient and she was declared dead on scene.”
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
