Another crash takes place near location of Brandvlei horror crash.

Four people were moderately to seriously injured following a motor vehicle collision on the N14 Ventersdorp Road near Randfontein on Sunday night.

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to the collision and found that two vehicles were involved in a rear-end crash, according to Santi Steinmann, spokesperson for Netcare 911.

All patients were treated on scene and were transported to hospital for further medical attention.

“Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rear-end crash and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation,” Steinmann concluded.

This collision took place a few kms away from where the Brandvlei horror crash occurred.

In the Brandvlei horror crash, six occupants died and four survived including a 16-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.

The surviving teen was the daughter of former principal of Riebeeckrand and Nic Diederichs, Günther Bühner. The boy was the son of former teacher of Riebeeckrand and Nic Diedrichs, Jackie Alberts.
