Load shedding confirmed until 10pm
Eskom has implemented stage 1 of load shedding from 4pm to 10pm.
“This is due to increased electricity demand and a shortage of generation capacity resulting from technical faults at some of our power station units.”
• Westergloor, Toekomsrus, Finsbury, Kocksoord, Peace Haven, Ten Acres, Middelvlei, Pelzvale, Randfontein South, Aureus 3.
Areas in Randfontein affected should stage 2 be implemented (1A and 6B):
• Randgate, Randpoort, Eikepark, Helikon Park, Culemborg Park, part of Homelake, park of Greenhills, Wheatlands, Loumarina, Bootha AH, Ooster Plotte, Elandsvlei, Sewage Farm.
• Westergloor, Toekomsrus, Finsbury, Kocksoord, Peace Haven, Ten Acres, Middelvlei, Pelzvale, Randfontein South, Aureus 3.
