Here are the Father’s Day winners!
Winning fathers received huge prizes from the Legend.
The winners of the Herald and Legend’s Father’s Day competition were announced by Pieter Engelbrecht, owner of the Legend Pub and Grill on Father’s Day.
Contestants entered by answering this question online: How many awards did Proteas ODI captain, AB de Villiers receive at this year’s Cricket South Africa (CSA) awards?
The answer was five.
Winners:
• 1st prize — Jennifer Louise Stokes
• 2nd prize — Ockert Esterhuizen
• 3rd prize — Louis Grobler
Third prize initially went to Ludwig Davies but he unfortunately did not collect his prize, the Legend then improvised and had two fathers compete against each other to see who could finish one beer first. Louis Grobler won and subsequently became the third prize winner.
