Eskom has implemented load shedding stage 1 from 5pm to 10:30pm tonight.
According to the Eskom load shedding schedule, Randfontein will be affected by load shedding in all stages.
In the current stage (stage 1), 6A: Robinpark, Robinson Hospital, Lenmed Hospital, part of Greenhills, part of Homelake, Bongweni Village, Azaadville, Randfontein Golf Club, and Randfontein Central from Hectorton to the Sewage Farm is affected.
If stage 2 is implemented, 6A will also be affected.
If stage 3 is implemented, 1A: Randgate, Randpoort, Eike Park, Helikon Park, Culemborg Park, part of Homelake, part of Greenhills, Wheatlands, Loumarina, Bootha AH, Ooster Plotte, Eladnsvlei, and the Sewage Farm will be affected.
In addition 6B will be affected in stage 3: Westergloor, Toekomsrus, Finsbury, Kocksoord, Peace Haven, Ten Acres, Middelvlei, Pelzvale, Randfontein South, and Aureus 3.
